Anyone know any maps with only one city per country and lots of unique units.

I've never seen a map with these features, but if you have a subscription you could create one as you like

1. What's New

Hello everyone and welcome to the Beta version of Asymmetric Warfare. This is a limited release scenario. There is several rules concerning alliances that I would ask you to observe in addition to the Game Protocols listed below. Ideally the US can ally with all countries except China, Russia and India. In turn, Russia and India can ally with China. These are not requirements of the game. Obviously if the US and China ally on turn one it is not going to be much of a contest.

2. Game Protocols

Please observe the following Game Protocols:
1. Unsportsmanlike conduct, including verbal attacks, personal insults or harassment of other players, will result in the player in question being banned from future games. In short, think before you talk.
2. Do not leave a game by timing out. If you have lost the game, bear the pain and surrender. You would be surprised how good it feels.
3. Take your turn in a timely manner. Don't be the last player to take your turn every turn.

3. Settings

• Starting funds vary by country.
• Capture the enemy capital and hold it for two (2) turns
• Maximum number of initial territories that can be selected is one (1)
• Maximum number of allies is ten (10)
• Maximum number of players is twenty (11)
• Maximum number of turns is two hundred (200)
• Minimum rank is seven (7)
• Turn duration is forty-eight (48) hours
• Allow joining until turn three (3)
• Game rules changes require unanimous consent

4. Player's Invitation List

The Player's Invitation List is managed as follows:

You will be added to the Player's Invitation List if:
• You are a new coalition member.
• You have joined a coalition game (applies to both coalition and non-coalition players).

You will be removed from the Player's Invitation List if:
• You request to be removed. All requests are final. No dithering please.
• You have been inactive in atWar for 10 days or longer as of the game date.
• You have been banned from coalition games as per the game rules above.
• Niki Coalition Leaders and Officers are de facto members of the Player's Invitation List.

Thank you Waffel for this post, its been a fun read honestly. Gave me a reason to log in daily just to see how this will unravel.
Back in 2021, as far as I remember, most of the permabans were discussed in the discord between Dave and us mods before any action was taken, and I myself supported most of them (such as Bugs and Lion), and I don't think those people should return. The only person I strongly objected, and still do (Dave remembers, we spent a few hours discussing it) was banning Lao, who for me is in the top 3/5 most respectful and skill-wise players this game has seen. I really don't know/remember how they managed to piss off each other so much, but it was an isolated incident.
But I agree with Waffel, 3/4 years has passed since the whole "dropping the hammer" scenario has happened, and I an 99% sure that not all the players who were deleted/permabanned back then do not deserve to come back.
So instead of dragging this topic further, maybe we should make a list of all the players who were deleted/permabanned and want to come back, and we review their cases in the staff discord channel.
@Dave I am sure we can manage that. As I can see, you yourself don't remember all the bans (like Waffel), and I am sure there are a couple of more.
In case of Waffel, I honestly don't see how he could drive new players away from this game. He is usually just an annoyance, but only to the people he knows. I don't see a scenario where he comes up to a beginner and starts spamming him, nor is he the one to post vulgar things in room/global channels.

Isreal on the map but religion majority Christianity from different demonstrations.

They're only "Chosen" because they reject Jesus so much. They're not actually like some special people or anything.

If you have 0 units in a city an ally can "ally cap" and take it from you. just be sure not to produce any units or move any units through the city

You can already, once you have an alliance just take out all your units then whichever Ally can just put their units In. Something like that, maybe you have to end ally at the right time. But something like that is there

I had ingame music on in my early days, but, after some long nights of playing I would hear that music while trying to sleep, and sometimes in mi dreams, so I turned it off and never heard it again.
