Ivan and Amok have already responded to this. If you are bored of the in-game music, put I your own. In regards to the game graphics I don't know what you're talking about. The map is one of the most impressive parts of Afterwind.

Maybe a 3D interactive Map, with ruins after a Battle ;-)

Well, you didn't provide an idea, just a complaint really.

I have recommended replacing the music with the royalty-free music provided by Epic Soul Factory or at least adding some by them, but my proposition has fallen on deaf ears.

Well, the presentation layer is excellent but I do find that the landscape could be of higher quality. I presume the landscape is made from batches of aerial photographs, or photographs taken from space. It is quite pixelated at the maximum zoom level though.

Sort-of off-topic (Still has to do with graphics), but flashy and moving things (can't forget noisy things) grab people's attention. Maybe if things were a little more in tuned with this, graphics would appear much nice. (EX: Hover over an option, and it makes a noise and the option box lights up).

In my opinion, the graphics are just fine. If this was an action game, then I'd support this, (Gard's suggestion) but this is a strategy game, and flashing lights and such just doesn't seem to fit.

"Flashing lights" is a gross overestimation of what I mean. As an example, when playing Halo PC, you scroll over an option (in the main menu), and it brightens a bit to show you are hovering on it, and it makes a sort of beep when you hover your cursor over it. Something simple like this. More moving parts and more artistic views in-game is what I mean.

As for the map graphics I disagree with it being bad it is actually quite impressive. Afterwind runs under Silverlight which is a cross-browser, cross-platform plug-in for delivering media and rich interactive applications for the Web and also for complex technicalities and coordination. This is why afterwind is played turn-by-turn and more like a boardgame rather than with flash.

For the music I agree with you. Afterwind would need a tune up in that sector with more warlike themes . But as many have already said, you can always slap on your own tunes and I'm sure the admins have other priorities than this.

For the most played areas like Europe, it is impressive. But some areas were drawn very sloppily (very straight-lined, geographically inaccurate in some places). The music in general I like, but it needs a more Cinematic approach (Listen to Two Steps from Hell, or Marty'o'Donne for examples).
