Question on map size

I have a map that I want to make, the background image is 2079x2079 pixels 300dpi.
How big will the map be? Give examples of existing maps to get an idea of its size. Has anyone calculated how many pixels does a single movement point of a unit travel?

Never took the time to calculate anything related to the size of maps
