Re-enable prior name histories

Seriously we need previous names history back. Its possible for just about anyone to hide there identity this way, i dont know half the people on my enemy, or ignored lists anymore.

Or just make it so you can't change your name, i'm down with that but it looks ugly on profiles if you see everyone's past names.

Just keep the first name on the list

Not a bad idea

I suggest you can change the name but can only keep one or two previous names on your profile. I'm probably more known by Reign. or Charlemagne so I'd want them to stay on the list for friends.

Or just auto-delete the names after they haven't been used for over half a year(for people who cycle between names like me cause i use EJR and Erwin J. Rommel)

The point is so people cant change identities. Each person needs to be handled in a spacific way. You cant communicate correct if you dont know who they are.

Who cares? If it's over 6 months that you haven't used that identity no one will refer to you by that alias anyways as long as it's not just a variant of another name like with your name Helly being a variation of Hellraiser

Not really, if it's a recent name you use it stays in tact. If it's a name you used once and haven't given a shit about in over 6 months who cares? Does anyone need to know my old name is "MisterArmy987" cause I decided to meme and name myself after him. No. There are so many people who named themselves the same as other players before that it'd cause way more confusion because then you'd have multiple people with the same name

or maybe instead of being able to change name every damn day make it like every month, 2 months etc so people have to rethink about changing their name since they will have it for a long time

You guys are missing the point. When im talking to someone i should be able to click on there profile and look at there prior names. For example i dont know a viserion, but i do know a reign and charlemagne. If he deleted those names off his profile id have no clue who he was.

Still it'd make more sense to auto-delete old names and aliases that aren't used after awhile or names they only used for a short period of time because then what about people who like to name steal? People had a hard time telling who Puchao really was because someone stole his name in the past. That just attaches these old names from name-stealers to their profile creating more confusion because there will be multiple players with the matching names on their profiles
