You're free to play whatever you want however RP maps are very bad maps to get into mainly because they don't teach you how to play the game properly. If you want to get better and learn how to play i'd suggest playing eu+ or a scenario. But anyways rp is just spamming walls and making 300 tanks by turn 20 and """"""""""roleplaying""""""""""""""""" in chat.

First of all i dont think we should do that to a player. We should tell him the maps and let him decide, ofc also give him advises but nothing more.
Edit:world map is also pretty cool unless you make over 2 allies which i personally avoid.

Roleplay is what the name says, you roleplay. You have to declare war before attacking someone, make treaties, buy stuff etc. I personally don't like it because it takes forever, the maps are really full of cities and weird borders, and it's not really fun since you're here looking for an online strategy game. However, if you're into that kind of thing, you might like it, so giving it a try will not hurt.

For the record, it's fine to say a map isn't good if you not go ''rp is horrible stay away ahhhh'' and still inform the player that it's fine to play.

RP concept is simple: first u wait 30 min in the lobby to get 10+ players. Then you wait about 1h for everyone to pick and argue who is allowed to get the good countries. Then someone leave and everyone gets angry and ask for a remake. Repeat the process as many times as necessary.
Every now and then a game actually starts, but I cant tell u about it cause I never witnessed such a thing. All I know is at some point everyone shouts ROGUE in the chat and then attack 10 v 1 someone and then allyend, feeling good about themselves cause it was a good game indeed.
Hope it helped u understand RP
Cheers

I love how everybody in this thread didn't limited themselves to answer to the question, but rather to express their thoughts about RP.

It applies in the freedom of being able to choose what you want to play.

In all fairness I merely described how RP works here, granted on a slighlty sarcastic tone. My opinion is a lot more radical than gentle sarcasm
