RP has been popular since 2014 and alas Dave confirmed the community has been slowly dying since 2014. Is not difficult to put two and two togheter - Is as if all the complains about how RP was killing the game were true.

It should of been classified as SP farming back when it first appeared.

Sad jealous people. RP gives less sp than anything basically. You spend 2 hours on a game for 100 sp if u play RP. People only play RP because it's fun, but some people are busy derailing the topic by trying to diminish an entire community huh.

No make RP 2 times more.

No. The 25% modifier is fair. Considering the number of starting units, reinforcements and incomes plus the starting event units a lot of players get. The 25% is well justified

Only problem with rp is players behavior. Some years ago,rp was fun because players actually roleplayed. Now they just gangbang all the time with stupid excuses. You a big nation, you dare do anything else rather than spamming chat with bs,and u end up being gangbanged by at least 4 people spamming blitz stealth planes, marines or stacks of 300 units each.

Problem isnt that though, problem is you cant tb every one of them and they end up landing. Also they spam 1-2 nukes each, killing 50-100 planes or units by nuke just like that. Not fun at all.

My experience has been the opposite, big nations are often themselves the biggest gangbangers or worst role players. A simple solution to this is smaller RP maps so the host can be more selective about who gets to participate. This in addition works as incentive for players to improve their behaviour.

I honestly don't think that'll change much. In my opinion the issue with roleplay is it doesn't have enough in it to emulate real life. The definition of a "role play" is to act out or perform a part of something. But there's not enough roleplay esque elements in the game that make you feel like you're taking on the role of that country. Like let's say I made a cold war roleplay. To make you feel the experience emulate life more, here in the USA we have system called DEFCON (defense conditions), let's say certain actions elevate the defcon(for example, invading and capping a nation would elevate the DEFCON level) and therefore allow for more actions to be taken such as increasing military strength, and allowing nuke usage at certain DEFCON levels. That'd make you feel more like you're in the cold war as you'd be mass mobilizing troops in response to certain events, much like how the Soviets and Americans would in the real cold war
Roleplay would be ten times better if it had more content to make you feel like you're taking on the role of that country instead of just giving them free will. I mean sure free will is nice but it feels more like a roleplay if you add elements to really make you feel like you're apart of that world the map is set in

that's not the problem, the actual problem is that they made RP scenario, the fact that china and US start with their whole country plus 50k is absolutely retarded, makes you wonder why people even bother to play small countries

RP is like having Albanians as a minority in your country.
You could give them basic human rights...but why bother?
