China instigated the war?

So China was fine with the war, just wanting to wait until after the olympics. Im trying to understand why we cant negotiate with the Russians, to try to deescalate, but we trade with and talk to China? Dialogue.

How did China instigate the war, if anything these news imply they delayed it.

Don't think so , this puts China in a bad position because they have to chose between two of their very good partners they rely on both.
That's why they abstained from voting in the UN in favour of any of them.
