AtWar,

For many years now, we've witnessed a cultural shift in the West, one that is projected to continue. I believe this is a discussion worth opening to the community, and I hope that the following passage will promote meaningful dialogue and bring greater awareness to an issue that I believe will affect us, if not now, then in the near and distant future:

The west is no longer able to defend itself because it is no longer willing to defend itself. As the West continues to undergo moral decline, cultural suicide, and political disunity, our enemies remain strong and united against us. Middle Eastern civilization is not getting stronger, the West is getting weaker; it will be internal decay, not external attack, that ultimately destroys the West. Rates of divorce are increasing, teenage pregnancy is increasing, single-parent families are increasing, drug use is on the rise, there is a decreasing commitment to learning manifested in the United States, and the list goes on.

The United States, and the West generally, cannot survive the path it is taking towards self-destruction. Indeed, our enemy is not the Middle East, nor any other civilization—self-preservation is only natural and right. The true enemy walks among us. Multiculturalists see little in Western heritage other than slavery and crime. They believe that the West must be redeemed through the infusion of more "peaceful," non-Western cultures. They are responsible for the erosion of Christianity, they have no regard for the rule of law; most of them have never stepped foot outside the United States, yet maintain the utmost respect for the Marxist dictatorships under which millions died. These people do not represent us, and we cannot allow them to steer our civilization towards the ash heap of history.

History dictates that a civilization must emerge, rise, and decline, but history is linear—it continues forward. The West is, in my opinion, unique. Just as it has for thousands of years, the West will survive because its values are right and just. Notions of individual liberty, democracy, the rule of law, human rights—these are unique to the West, they originated in the West. All other civilizations adopted these values from the West, not the other way around.

The emerging politics of culture will inevitably shape the forthcoming century, and whether we succumb to the fate of civilizations before us, or remain strong, depends entirely on you. The Founding Fathers of my country, the United States, believed in a simple creed: e pluribus unum, united we are one. United, the West will flourish; divided, the West will fall. Indeed, there is no greater threat to Western civilization than the West itself.

Do not let this be our final century on Earth. Many have fought and died in defense of these values, and if we're not willing to do the same, then we are no better than the multiculturalists that despise us. We, as a community, must rise to the occasion. Join me in this effort, AtWar; take to the streets, spread the word, defend your families—if this is our end, then we must at least put up one hell of a fight.

Rise, prosper, decline, and fall is a natural order of things in this world you speak of. Cultures also change as time goes on, the greek fathers of western democracy no longer exsist, the greeks of today are closer related to the migratory slavic conquerors of the balkans. Romans are gone entirely, the gallic people of britian, france, and northern Spain are gone. The Egyptians are gone, the persians are gone, all cultures change with calamity, and calamity is a constent in our history as we grow complacent in our grandeur.

But it doesnt happen all at once, in the dying days of antiquity while the west was "dying" byzantium, gave rise to a man who came from peasantry, and was in love with a performer/prostitute. While the west died slowly Justinian Emperor of romans, one of the greatest in my opinion, who survived two waves of the bubonic pleague, and a hyper aggressive sassanid empire at its peak, with dreams of a reunion of a achamanid empire gave rise to a once decaying and dying empire, and reclaimed lost glories. What seemed lost went on to fight and prosper many times for almost another 900 years.

I bring this up because time is a constant and none of us are capable of knowing what way it will swing next. Fear of the unknown future of our peoples is natural and i believe it is amplified by our hyper awareness of the world in this information age. But, what can we do, but be the best individuals we can be? Live your lives, fight for whats yours, when the barbarians arive fight them, and if its time to die well, someone will write about us one day, and admire the strides we granted to civilization as a whole. Our glories, and what we accomplished as a civilization, will far out way our follies. But untill that day we must keep on living and doing our best.

That may have been true centuries ago, but the "information age" you speak of presents an entirely new dynamic to the world order in a much different way. The information age (i.e. globalization) seems to accelerate social decay more than anything else. Globalists, multicultrualists, whatever you want to call them, maintain substantial political authority in the United States and elsewhere throughout Europe. These people generally adhere to the notion that the West is great because it is a "melting pot" of different peoples and cultures. This belief is entirely unfounded, the West is a culture in and of itself.

I'm generally ok with free immigration policies, but the welfare state and public institutions have created a powerful incentive for Middle Easterners in particular to stay in the West. I'm not bashing individuals from the Middle East or North Africa, there certainly is no counter-civilization cult that aims to destroy us, but the conditions present within our own boarders, and the interventionist policies that we (the U.S.) maintain in the Middle East, have all but ensured a clash of civilizations. The United States cannot dominate nor escape the world. We can only hope to confront it and, hopefully, not dissolve in the process.

I think life is too easy now in the west, people are accustomed here to a high standard of living and have lost their survival instincts. It's a world where people just don't give a rats's ass anymore. The last few generations have grown up not thinking how to solve problems ( not problems like deciding which bathroom you should get to use use )and improve things, and have been raised on the comforts from past inventions. If only this generation realized we still had problems to solve and things to preserve, such as reducing pollution and redesigning cities ( In America a lot of cities are not designed very well and were developed during the age of the automobile, which led to lots of urban sprawl), then we might have a chance at improving things here.

There is one game i play and one (communist) clan is created specifically to spread Communism, they use their message board to teach others about the ideology and organize rallies (like the one in inauguration 2017).

This topic reminds me of it.
