The Spanish, French, Belgian, Dutch, Germans, Italians, English, Scandinavians, and Portuguese established colonies. In order to achieve their goals in search of power, riches, gold, converts, and glory they colonized the new world. In order to effectively do this, they sailed with colonization ships across the ocean with fully armed soldiers such as conquistadors. My theory on this idea for the "Colonization" strategy improves naval transports and the power of infantry while nerfing offensive units and air units. +2 attack +2 crit -1 range Infantry +15 capacity +10 range +2 view +200 cost Naval Transports +1 attack Destroyer -1 attack -1 defense Militia -1 attack -1 defense Tank +20 cost Marine -6 range Bomber -3 range Air Transport -2 defense Stealth +50 cost Sentry Plane The benefits of this strategy would be that you could travel across the ocean twice as fast while loading up more troops but at a greater cost. Infantry and Destroyers could also fight better. The disadvantage is that your air units are nerfed and your main fighting units have less power in combat.

Don't see how this would be very useful in how AtWar is currently running.... I like the idea thought

So you'd just have to spam a 70 cost 6/6 unit ? Bombers are normally 6/6 and cost 160, in SM they are 8/5 and cost 130.

Advantages: -Get to enemies overseas faster. -Travel twice as fast on water. -Destroyer extra tanky attack. -Hardened Infantry. I say its extremely useful because it would give you that extra speed boost to stop overseas enemies from becoming strong.
