In defense of my friend e-mare

Our Friend e-mare did nothing wrong, in fact he is the only mod that is actually doing his duty.

• What were other mods expecting when they made the atwar rules long and numerous, and to add salt to the wound; the rules are open to interpretation.
  
  
• Why are you all complaining when the rules that mods created are now enforced out of the sudden? is it because we have grown use to mods being lazy,incompetent and biased, and now that order has finally arrived we despise it?.
  
  
• E-mare has done more for the community than all the current mods combined. Why are you not grateful to him?

Let's break up everything i have said so far and examine it with more detail:
When i was talking about the rules being long and numerous, i was not exaggerating, take a look for yourself i am not making this up:



that was just the introduction, and it states that analyzing the rules is pointless, mods can made up rules on the spot and interpret them as they wish, so for the rest of this post i will not debate whatever a rule is legit or not, instead i will argue if the rule is enforced properly.



As you can see in 1.1, questioning e-mare is already against the rules, you should be glad he hasn't punish you for questioning his fair judgment, yet you take the liberty to defame him.



As you can see in 2.1, making somebody feel bad is against the rules, just think about it for a moment how many times you judge e-mare's actions and how he could potentially feel. Be glad he hasn't banned you yet, and if he did then you are out of luck since all he is doing is following the rules that other mods wrote.

As you can see in 2.3, spamming/flooding and disrupting a conversation is also against the rules, e-mare is the only mod who actually enforces this rule, good job e-mare for doing your job unlike the rest of the mods

Many of us have experience disruption as the result of people speaking in other language besides english, yet how many times did mods actually enforce this rule? only e-mare himself is capable of doing this but not even him can be only all the time (unlike other mods, e-mare is actually active)



As you can see in 3.1, going off-topic is against the rules yet mods refuse to punish their friends when they go off-topic, lucky for us e-mare is not that type of mod and he enforces rules equally and without bias.

As you can see in 3.2, making a petition to remove e-mare is against the rules, so please refrain from doing that.

As you can see in 3.3, (for those who are illiterate) the word pillory is when you attack somebody personally, i have seen you post bad things about not only e-mare but other players as well, yet mods don't do anything about it. Calling Tito a idiot is pillory.



who do you think is the one who enforces the ban list rules? e-mare does, because pulse is nowhere to be found, pulse is not the only inactive mod: desu,bertank, and the rest, are no shows, they are inactive, not here, never online when we need them (only exception here is laochra, brainwl and e-mare himself).

Now let's examine my 2nd point:

The rules have always been there, they were supposed to be enforced since their creation, if you are complaining now is because they now affect you, and what is the only difference between now and before? the difference is that we have e-mare as a mod, an active, uncorrupt, consistent, moderator who enforces the rules that the old lazy and biased mods created.

Having issues with e-mare means having issues with the results themselves, if you follow the rules you won't have any problem with e-mare.

I have taken the liberty to examine one recent post made by a fellow member of our community, and let me ask you gentlement, do you think this is a proper way to reply to a mod?



let me assure you that the words "fucking hell" are extremely negative and "condescending ass" is the perfect example of pillory, and if you remember it's against the rules. If you want to follow the example of our fellow friend Dbacks, then you won't get far in this new community free of trolls and rule breakers.

How can you blame e-mare for enforcing the rules in a daily basis when the community is rude towards him? Dbacks and Waffel are just examples of how uneducated and rude our small and lovely community can be.

Now to conclude with my 3rd and last point:

E-mare has done a lot for this community, he is helping us fix countless of bugs for html5, he makes custom maps for us to play and enjoy, he cleans the forum from rule breakers and trolls, he enforces the rules that our lazy, biased, inactive mods set up for him to follow, e-mare tries to be friendly and active, he even proposed hosting a few map making tournaments in order to get this community to be a better place.

How can you dare to attack him as if he was some wild beast seeking to do you harm? i think it's time we think again and ask ourselves who is really doing the harm to our community, i provided you with a few questions below that will help you reach to the same conclusion as I did:

• Who tried to take away the maps from the content creators?
  
  
• Who nerfs strategies without consulting other members of the community?
  
  
• Who is biased and never enforces the rules on their fellow clan members?
  
  
• Who is inactive and yet holds the power to make and enforce rules?
  
  
• Who attacks e-mare and with which purpose?

Are you not doing just that in this post?
You are posting to pillory people who give emare a hard time.

People think they have a right to *Blank* because they paid money for premium... In reality they only get what they bought...
EMare has done good to this game, we should respect that.

I have noticed in the couple of weeks since I've returned, that e Mare done beyond any other mod. I value his contribution to this game development. Even though there was an incident, and I had my personal opinion, it's just my opinion. He seems to be fair, and honest with everyone, and helpful when players are having problems. Like Zatara mentioned, e Mare contributed a lot with HTML5, and still do. More than the entire mods combained, so if you aren't happy with e Mare you have a choice to stay, or leave.
