What trends do you think was the gayest trends to go viral on the internet in 2017? In my opinion it was ASMR

Yeah it was totally popular before even though it wasn't even searched up frequently until 2017 according to google trends and before you try and say "there are other search engines" or some shit like that, Google is one of the most popular ( if not the most popular) search engine so if it weren't searched up much until 2017 then it likely was not searched very frequently prior to 2017. So technically ASMR still qualifies as an internet trend.

1. the only thing your graph showed is that it was gaining popularity over the span of 2017.
2. if your qualification for a trend is the fact that it continuously gained popularity overtime then you can practically say that anything with a positive linear progression is a trend

I'll base my argument off this statement.
I looked at the values starting from 2013 to 2017, from the first recorded date of each year to 4 months afterwards to the earliest recorded date in May of each year
January 6th 2013 Value of 12 - May 5th 2013 Value of 15 ---- Growth of 3 value
January 5th 2014 Value of 19 - May 4th 2014 Value of 35 ---- Growth of 16 Value
January 4th 2015 Value of 40 - May 3rd value of 54 ---- Growth of 14 Value
January 1st 2017 Value of 72 - May 7th Value of 86 ---- Growth of 14 Value
According to these numbers from the start of 2017's earliest recorded date to may's earliest recorded date 2017 had the 2nd highest growth in value from the earliest recorded date to 4 months afterwards.

I also recorded within a shorter period of time and instead of doing each year I recorded each relatively high growth value. With each starting value being within space of about a month of apart from the second value( Not all will be exactly one month, I attempted to single out the highest growth trends specifically)
March 17 2013 Value of 13 - March 31 - 2013 - Value of 31 ---- Growth of 14
November 30th 2014 Value of 31 - December 20th 2014 Value of 56 ---- Growth of 25
October 11 2015 Value of 44 - October 18 2015 - Value of 71 ---- Growth of 27
July 2nd 2017 Value of 74 - July 30th 2017 Value of 97 ---- Growth of 23
So here from the 2017 values it grew almost a quarter in interest which ranks it at the 3rd highest growth in the list barely being surpassed by the November to December trend.
I would've shown you a visual aid with each specific point marked on the reference but my computer crashed and I lost the screenshot I had( I can't find it in my history because I was making it in incognito)

So, how does it not classify as a trend in 2017 if it nearly matches with the highest values on the list?
