There should be a menu where players can access mods when they need them. Kind of troublesome to have to make a "test" report to see how many are online. Or check players but many new players and low ranks don't even know where that is. And they tend to be the ones who need mods the most.
So I suggest having a small menu at the top of the screen to contact mods directly.

Here's an example of what I mean. Check chat.

Sounds fine to me, and it seems like you already have one mod supporting you.

Maybe there should also be a dedicated report forum, where you send a private forum topic that is open to the mods, not normal players, and they can then open the topic to any other player in the game using there user name, allowing to get their side of the story, and/or being able to show them exactly why they are being banned.

would also be useful that if you were banned, it shows a reason, and length with left if applicable.

OP: not a bad idea to add a mod list on the dropdown where it shows friends/enemies/etc

Arb:
Will implement the display of the ban length/reason.

You can PM mods to accomplish the first.

Yeah i know that, but most new players don't, you have to constantly tell people to use the report function, or to pm the mods.

also this would be a message viewable to every mod, meaning a quicker response out of game for a time when mods are offline or not in game, just browsing the forums maybe. and you know that if no-one is online the first person mod who is will see it and reply.

The /report function is better then to contact a mod directly in chat. When you use the /report function then all the mods will see your message. Mostly, one of us will say 'i'll take it' or 'can someone take it? i'm in a game'. However, there will always be taken care of, if there is a mod present. If you PM a mod directly, and he doesn't have the time, then you should PM the next and the next. Its better to use /report, this way you will always get the one that is available and he will send a message to you in respond.

I've thought about this same thing many times. You can just add them all as friends and see when they're online anyway.

I don't really see the point... if you're reporting an incident, you just type out the report and mods (hopefully) go and fix the problem. You don't need to test the waters first, the whole point of the system is that you're typing a report.

Now, if only ~Guest14502 didn't have so many downtimes by staying logged in when he/she's in fact AFK...

I still think it would be useful to have a list of mods accessible in game. Many times people don't realize that we are mods, despite the: ~

Yeah, a list would be best i think. And it doesn't mean players have to contact 1 mod specificly. Their message should still be visible to all mods. This would just make more sense really, like Hugo mentioned.

Well done reviving, DBurris.

On topic, I still think this would be useful. I assume it's pretty low on you guys's to-do lists?
