It's hard to calculate exactly, units will simply survive for longer since they've got more HP, which in turns means more number of rolls before the unit dies.

i mean if you want a general case, i use that calculation

Attacking with inf

1 mil - 2 inf
2 mil - 2 inf (70% chance win, id take the risk)
3 mil - 3 inf (more than 90% chance win)
4 mil - 4 inf (more than 90% chance win)
5 mil - 5 inf (more than 90% chance win)
6 mil - 6 inf (more than 90% chance win)
8 inf - 10 inf (more than 90% chance win)
