Firstly, it is not Croat in ISIS, it is Croat trapped by ISIS. Stop making things look different.

Secondly, this.is Tomislav Salopek, a 30 year old Croatian manageer who is working in French oil company. ISIS catched him while he was driving his car to the work.
He got a wife and 2 small children.

Thirdly, ISIS wants ransom for freeing this guy. Problem are making medias, as always, who are giving various informations about him.
ISIS gave a deadline which expired.
Now some medias are saying that they cut his head and that there are pictures which are showing that, but on the other side, some medias are telling that ISIS gave another deadline of 48 hours for him.

Croatian intelligence services are closely working with Egyptian intelligence services and American CIA (who got their people deeply in ISIS) to locate Tomislav.
First informations are that they are somewhere in Lybia, but location is still unknown.
Also Tomislav's destiny is still unknown.

Lets hope he is still allright and that they will take all necessary measures for his release

I think i could save him, but i would need around 150kg equipment because going alone. Unfortunately i have to guard Russian western borders because America and Europe are deploying armies on Russian border

Americans didnt provide single proof of Russian invasion, but they traveled 15,000km to bring army near Russia. Are US satellites broken? Couldnt send pic of russian army to UN as a proof? Or US doesnt have satellites, hmm, maybe they lied they have.

Lets see how will you feel when Russian Army open bases in Mexico and Cuba, bringing tanks, infantry, anti-air systems and ships. Last time when USSR sent troops to Cuba, America almost started WW3 because of panic.

You are all strong on words but when it comes to providing proof, you are all silent and mute:

Lets see if West will apologize for accusations if Dutch Investigation report that Ukraine is guilty and not Russia.

It doesn't occur to you maybe the US deployed troops, because after the Ukraine crisis (and Putin's reaction to it), every single country with a Russian minority is now thoroughly intimidated, and the US needs to do something dramatic to keep them in NATO?

Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Moldova have significant Russian minority and they are not thoroughly intimidated, not even in NATO. Only countries afraid are Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Ukraine. That doesnt mean America should make profit on other countries fear by selling them patriots, jet fighters and tanks. America is inciting violence and war by doing it. Russia send humanitarian aid to Ukraine, see the difference?

Also why America need to do something dramatic to keep them in NATO? Why dramatic? Why to keep them? Doesnt European countries have freedom to decide if they want to be member in NATO or leave? Does that mean America is oppressing them and not allowing them to leave? Lets mention how USSR asked America not to push eastward after they finished agreement to stop Cold War in 1989, America promised not to accept Poland, Baltic, Hungary, Romania and Ukraine into NATO, so they can create zone where NATO and USSR wont have border and thus no conflict. USSR collapsed 2 years after and America accepted East Europe into NATO, pushing NATO closer to Russian border and bringing troops and weapons. Reason for that was 'we didnt signed agreement, and you didnt expect us to really hold to a promise'.

Read Wolfowitz Doctrine, made to be American Foreign Policy, it says that America should not let any country, group or organization become rich and strong enough to oppose American hegemony. It particularly mention post-Soviet space and Russia that should be hold down and hinder. So why America tell how they promote democracy and freedom but in the same time they invade and do everything to hold other countries poor and weak? Why that hypocricy and double standards?

Crimea held referendum and joined Russia, Russian parliament accepted and ratified agreement, both Crimea and Russia celebrated, thousands of people, check youtube. America and Europe doesnt recognize referendum, so i can only assume they are against freedom and democracy. Does that mean America and Europe are totalitarian dictatorships? They recognize their elections and referendums, but when others have it, its fraud and crime. Who are they to decide?

Baltic and Poland are afraid of Russian invasion although they didnt provide proof yet after 1 and a half year. They ask America to bring more weapons, but that doesnt mean thats justified because there is no evidence of Russian aggression. Which mean Poland and Baltic are arming to invade, not defend. NATO announced they will send more troops, now they have 4,000, but in 5-10 years they want to have 400,000 on Russian border. Google it. Thats Das Wehrmacht style from 1941.

Another fact is that America is bringing troops near Russia, but we dont see Russian Army in Mexico, Canada or Cuba. How would America feel if Russia bring tanks, infantry and planes to Mexico, on the border with America. Last time when something similar happened(Cuban Crisis) America almost started nuclear world war because Soviets started building bases on Cuba, so i can assume America would try to start nuclear world war again if Russia start building military infrastructure in Mexico.

Should Russia follow American example and threat with force and start war because Americans are on Russian border? If Russia keep being peaceful like now and keep sending humanitarian aid to civilians who desperately need it (they sent 2 transport planes to Yemen as well, 40 tonnes), doesnt that mean Russia is peaceful and good while America is warmongering and bad?

Those countries are already on excellent terms with Russia. Naturally they are not particularly afraid of Russia taking a stance against them.

The Baltic governments feel like they require weapons. The US has weapons. Connect one obvious thing to the other and you get massive US weapons sales to the Baltic States.

Kirjutas Skanderbeg, 10.08.2015 at 09:53

The United States needs to do something dramatic precisely because the European countries can decide whether they want to leave.

If the Baltic States feels that NATO is not acting in their interests, they will leave. Since NATO is basically the American sphere of influence in Europe, the US wants the Baltic States to remain in NATO. So they will have to reassure the Baltic States that NATO will protect them in case of Russian minorities making trouble in their own countries.

Referendums with international implications should be subject to international agreement. I seem to not recall Ukraine agreeing to this referendum.

Probably as outraged as Russia is acting now. The US would probably also demand that Russia immediately leave. Eh. Damned be what they think. I don't see why the Russian Army shouldn't build bases in Mexico or in Cuba, assuming that local governments agreed.

Kirjutas Skanderbeg, 10.08.2015 at 09:53

To be realistic, 10 American tanks, 1 jet fighter and 10,000 Estonian troops cannot stop Russian Army if Russian Federation invade and decide to occupy Estonia. Especially when you have 300,000 Russians in Estonia (33% population). So isnt it logical to spend money on healthcare, sports and infrastructure rather than military? No need to spend money on something where you going to lose 100%

I do support freedom, so i dont care for Baltic arming that much, but i am for wartime occupation of Baltic if NATO invade Russia through them. After the war they should get independence back, because if they stay as part of Russia that mean Russia is responsible for their development and i am not fond of sharing resources from Ural and Siberia with someone who hate me. If they want Russian resources they should pay for it for price Russia decide.

I also believe that, naturally Baltic governments will be pro-Russian in the future because they will need Russian capital and resources to develop their economies and infrastructure. They wont join military or political alliance, but they will do business.

Kirjutas International, 10.08.2015 at 22:07

So you support foreign interference in internal affairs? Does that mean Russia and China as allies of Serbia should help Serbia against Albanian minority making trouble in South Serbian Province? Shouldnt states solve their problems alone because if we bring others war might start and escalate to continental or world crisis.

What about Moldovan crisis, Cyprus crisis, or newly Ukrainian crisis?

Serbia didnt agree on Kosovo referendum but America and Europe accepted Kosovo and declared their independence legal. So why America and Europe dont accept Crimea now and recognize their referendum legal?

Why whould 'East team' members be subject of of UN and International laws and agreements, and 'West team' members can do whatever they want without asking UN or following International Law? Isnt that discrimination?

Wouldnt be better that everyone use UN and Intl Law, so we can be equal in the eyes of law?

Kirjutas International, 10.08.2015 at 22:07

Well i as i said, America and NATO challenged Soviet Allies rights to move troops in their borders (Cuban-Soviet weapon agreement). So Russia can use that as excuse to complain about NATO movement in their borders right?

Plus i mentioned American promise not to push east toward Russia after Cold War, so new Cold War dont start. They pushed and now Second Cold War started. Only this time Cold War II is more deadlier and dangerous because China is Russian ally and much stronger than 30 years ago. Russia is more connected to the World and have many alliances unlike USSR which was closed country and didnt interfere in the World. And above that, America is more stronger and have more bases around the world than in first Cold War. Japan started to militarize again, stopping apologize for WWII, we have two Koreas, independent India and growing Brazil. Second Cold War can will be 1000% more deadlier and dangerous.

America could stop all that by staying in Germany, not accepting Poland and Baltic into NATO. Russia would create Eurasian Economic Union with Belarus and Kazakhstan and do business, not war. Baltic would trade with both Russia and Europe and everyone would be happy.

Lets see if tide change and European states start joining Russian-led alliance, will NATO and America agree with it or complain.

This thread is a total joke, It is starting to become annoying the amount of Russian and American bullcrap.

Since the baltic states have joined NATO, NATO troops are free to move inside their own borders, even if they move to a border of an agressive country like Russia, who accepted and ratified an agreement that did not meet International laws nor was agreed by the other part (Ukrainian Government), so there shouldnt be any protest if America indeed funds and arms baltic states countries and Poland, who feel threatned with the Russian (teddy) bear fighting for eastern Ukraine, If I was in their place, even I would be afraid, if a country that borders Russia was being bullied by russian minorities backed up by Russia, so they have every reason to arm themselves to protect their borders, and airspaces.

No one can deny Russia has been sistematically trespassing NATO and EU airspace, they do it everyday in Estonia and Lithuania, and the sea north of Scotland.
2 Russian bombers were spotted trespassing the Portuguese airspace last summer, dont you think it was a bit far away from their motherland? I think it was, and they refused to cooperate with the Portuguese Airforce and didnt respond to radio comunications aswell, and they only left our airspace when our Jets locked in on them, ready to fire.

Sure, Russia is the bad boy here and all, it's true they are using the Russian minority bullcrap to mind their nose in ex-Warsaw Pact countries or disrupt its governments or forcing annexations/conflicts, but America has been messing up badly since the 1940's.
I also agree, despite the fact Russia's causing this, that America is incitating EU and Baltic States & Poland to an agressive response towards Russia, which isnt correct aswell, and that they are minding their nose too much in European Affairs and acting as if NATO was their alliance of puppet states, afterall, NATO was created to as counter-measure of Warsaw Pact, the lil' dummie communist puppet states of the Russian dictatorship that was the USSR.

Jedi, just because Russia send "humanitarian aid" to Ukraine and 40 tonnes of Humanitarian Aid to Yemen, doesnt erase what they did and are doing in Eastern Europe, and what they are doing is threatning weak eastern europe states, which backed up by US, can respond and should respond heavily if Russia indeed invades their soil.

In the end, both Russia and America are bullies, except 1 actually has the Armed Forces to do it (America), Russia has 1 person capable of doing it (Putin) but no good army

I can deny, because there are no evidence that Russian Air Force aircraft trasspasses Portuguese airspace, or any other airspace without permission.

Russian Air Force is training in international waters and air, landing in Russian Aircraft Carrier in international waters and flying in international recognized airspace.

See how you use double standards? You say NATO can move inside NATO borders and Russia should not complain, but when Russia fly near your border you complain.

Sometimes RAF fly on the border of international airspace, on the border between Inlt air space and country's airspace, so you use that as excuse to claim how Russia violate international agreements and provoke, but Russia didnt cross that imaginary border in air, it stay in international airspace.

NATO countries sometimes rise their jet fighters to be close to RAF, and say how they escorted them, but fact is those jet fighters took off and entered international space, they passed their country air border. So if they locked and fired at RAF that would be a crime punishable by UN according to International Law (every country have right to use international airspace).

---

After 25 years of NATO hegemony, they thing they can do whatever they want without consequences, so now when Russia say no to invasion of Syria, Iran, Russia, NATO act aggressive.

If NATO stop wargames, Russia will follow. Russia is now like Germany and Japan in 1945. Both Japan and Germany reduced their military and started working on economy only, you can see today that Germany and Japan are great economies with weak militaries who just want to do business. Russia want that as well, but if NATO keep pushing eastward, they will just force Russia to militarize again and new Cold War will start which will make profit to NATO because NATO lives by selling guns and fear.

NATO countries are not competitive anymore like China, Russia, India and Brazil are, so they have to use force instead produce goods to sell. Not to mention their debt which is more than 100% of their GDP.

I can deny, because there are no evidence that Russian Air Force aircraft trasspasses Portuguese airspace, or any other airspace without permission.

Russian Air Force is training in international waters and air, landing in Russian Aircraft Carrier in international waters and flying in international recognized airspace.

2 Russian bombers trespassed Portuguese Airspace flying high above a village called Peniche. Last time I recall, Peniche was Portuguese and on Portuguese mainland.

Yes they did trespass.

Portuguese Air Force patrols Lithuanian Airspace and almost everyday they have to stalk a russian bomber and force him out of Lithuania.
