Switzerland is rarely priviliged country. Most countries need to defend themselves and cannot acquire eligible weaponry, economy and trade deals without picking sides unless they are powerful enough or with sufficient influence to determine the rules.

Switzerland actually has a decently sized military. Thats why nobody wanted to invade them for the last 200 years. They currently have a standing army of 120.000 men and a reserve of ~80.00 men. This is, while it only has a population of 8 million. They also produce most of their own military equipment.

Switzerland maintains an army because it can not because it is necessary nowdays. And despite that they are not that easy to press like other countries that essentially need cooperation for survival. It might stays relatively as secret but i'm sure that it happens everyday that lobbyists from superpower approach to ensure nations trade their national resources right and trade arms correctly. In many nations.

Amsterdam pic? Now it's a lawless urban jungle, according to city ombudsman. It just show a nice pics to cover rotten interior, like the rest of EU. https://www.independent.co.uk/travel/news-and-advice/amsterdam-nighttime-crime-lawless-overcrowding-netherlands-mass-tourism-a8469376.html

It does work like that actually. Only few US companies trade with Russia, while EU trade alot, therefore sanctions hit EU hard. It is a US game to weaken major competition to stay afloat for some more time. https://www.ft.com/content/9b9bbd3c-44a5-11e8-93cf-67ac3a6482fd

Incorrect, Switzerland is global bank and no one have interested in messing with a vault they leave their belongings. In the other hand, Serbia was attacked and invaded for trying to pursue independent european course only 20 years ago. In 2014 Russia was targeted for trying the same, and now China.
According to Wikipedia: http://prntscr.com/lz3dja 2000 tanks & vehicles, 80,000 troops, with population of 10 million (back then). Wiki page 'Serbian Army' tells they had 400,000 reserve in the 90's http://prntscr.com/lz3ebb That is enough proof to show that large military is not enough defence against global system. Switzerland would fall within months if attacked, and modern war is fought first by sanctions to starve the population, before sending troops.

I've heard Chinese buying real estate in Australia so much, Canberra had to ban them. Maybe Russians will start buying New Zealand land, so you can imagine you're a colony Maybe it's fun to think or have it for a while, but ultimately it sucks to not be locally owned.

Your drunk if you think any country can actually own American land. It's like when the older brother let's his young and dumb sibling use his stuff for a while. Sure China thinks they own the clay, suuuuuuuure. Good luck actually enforcing your sovereignty over it lol America at its height couldnt stop Cuba from nationalizing american financed companies on the island lol

You would be surprised how easy is to have control under law radar like 'private ownership and property rights' policy. Chinese are buying land and facilities in USA with private companies, that mean they operate under policy i just mentioned, hence the state(american one) doesn't have right to interfere. Now they can do whatever they want in the space law gives them, but still chinese government can contact them and give orders (and later rewards) to do certain tasks, and USA can't do anything about that. US can resort to nationalizing (seizing assets) but that lowers government rating, created bad publicity and could trigger trade war with China. Basically it can create more problems than gains for USA, and you must admit USA have already lots of unsolved problems. ---------------------------------- Simply USA created neoliberal rules for the World when communism fell so american companies can operate worldwide, as other companies can't compete with them (only some German and Japanese can), but they didn't think for the future, as now China is using that system to send companies to operate in USA under same rules USA used 20 years ago. Now those companies (clearly supported by the chinese state) are competing with US companies, defeating the very purpose of the rules that are made to eliminate competition and dominate the market. TLDR: just imagine Afterwind without beginners lobby, highranks beating lowranks and it is perfectly within the rules, then some of those lowranks ranked up and started matching highranks, making games harder for them, so now highranks complain.

Laws are not real lol, at any time given the right circumstances, there is not a thing a parchment of paper can do if the opposition wants it bad enough. I'm telling you the entire world is retarded for loaning anything to the united states, we ain't greece, we will not pay it back lol.
