Talking to multiple people about the ongoing events with the seemingly bad servers, maps reloading and no update insight for the editor. It is only natural in such a world where there is a need for balance, an opposition group comes up to speak for the unheard or neglected voices. Acting in a impulsive way will only further discourage the developers into slowing down Atwar's progress than it already is. Complaining and threatening will not get us anywhere and further divide this community that supports this game. Without knowing the real situations of what is truly going on, or anything about game development they continue to threaten and attack the creators and mods. We understand that this community can be repulsive sometimes but, there is no other free gaming community that has most of the population to be able to tell a nation from just looking a 5% of the border or having conversations about the same interests in historical and political events. No matter how angry you are the developers have no choice, chrome killed silverlight, not Amok. Do not blame the lack of bugs on their refusal to sell the game, blame it on the lack of manpower they have to fix it. Very little people have stepped up to help Atwar for free and you resort instantly to boycotting ?!? We refuse the Atwar community to die because roughly 50 people or so have a shallow idea of what is going on. Now, of course we didn't come without a goal in mind, otherwise we would be wasting your time. There is one simple answer to this, but first let us give you some context:

Ivan is currently attempting to learn the html code to continue progress on the map editor, clearly html5 is very much new to him and as result bugs and glitches naturally emerge.

The Lag issue seems to be an engine problem than a server side issue, browser engines can only go so far.

There is a reason to believe the servers are being attacked as we speak by outside servers, we do not know their motive, but they are driving more supporters for the boycotting side.

Multiple issues with the old editor and the fact that it is still in use.

Websocket closes are tied to the poor engine and not the servers.

There is only one solution to this issue: Steam. If this game can get to steam, the developers are relieved of these issues all together and progress can continue at a better rate, toss in smoother gameplay and new UI this game's interest rate can surely return to its increasing numbers. The developers can use the engine of their choice and rely less on the browser and more on their own program. With your support we can bring a new future to atwar and our community. We must restore faith and trust in our developers as they control the true fate of our community.
