I don't see why this is a ridiculous idea. It's not like I'd have total domineering power. There would be numerous mods with various levels of hierarchy, then there would be admin control. Anything I do would be watched, any mistake I make would be punished and I'm certain with my background, I'll be watched like a hawk. I do a far better job moderating my own map without any mod powers at all better than you do with them. I'm utterly fair despite there being no incentive not to be and any time I make mistake or get personal, I always rectify it of my own decision and apologize without any oversight. I have total governing power over the rules to my map without any actual moderator power and I do it fairly without any consequence to my actions. It's practically a Monarchy with my finger on the self destruct button and it's the most popular scenario in the game because of it.

I've been here since beta. I'm one of the most dedicated players in the game, known by all, loved and hated. I'm one of the best mapmakers and certainly the most creative. I run a tight and fair ship as the captain of numerous maps and I've led multiple coalitions while being one of the top 10 ranked players for almost two years.

What qualification do I not have for being a mod? When was the last time I broke a rule? A forum post that one moderator didn't like that was overruled due to the fact I didn't break any rules?

The only consideration I can think of is my politics and if that is the reason why I am not allowed to be a moderator, then why do/did you have Anarchists and Communists as moderators if radical personal politics prevent you being a mod? I thought this was about keeping order and improving game quality by administering the rules and I think I've done a damn fine job of that with my own maps.

I have more qualifications for being a moderator than most of the people you made a mod. I have community backing and any decisions I make would be closely watched as I'd be a provisional mod. I know how it works, I've modded chans, chats, coalitions, alliances and even a business. I think I can keep on eye making sure people don't abuse global, I have no history of exploiting and my input into group mod decisions would be insightful. I'm not the kind to discuss mod conversations, I've banned friends from my maps when I didn't want and I don't even reveal the people who send me screen caps of other players breaking rules on my map unless they are fine with it.

So don't mock me as if me being a mod is a laughable idea, Pulse. I'm more qualified than you and I've done a damn good job moderating the community without mod powers. More than you have with them.

Nope its nothing to do with your moderation of the map why it is popular, it is because it is very well made from a very popular genre. Che's map was terrible, still had x amount of plays because of what it was. My RomeTW map is terrible in my opinion, lots of plays because of what it is.

Anyway's before that rant I could see reasons why you might have been a good mod, after it I just feel you have an over inflated sense of importance when actually to 95% of players you are no different from anybody else, and no that's not to downplay your 'achievements' that's just the cold hard reality.

Truth is nobody cares who the mods are until they break the rules and get punished, I personally couldn't give a monkey who the mods are because apart from in a playing sense I rarely have any cause to interact with them. Bottom line is that there really is no need for new mods, and anybody who champions themselves for the role should never get it.

- remove capturing neutral country as a setting in duel games

i don't support removing it. it can be a great option for dueling
it should be an option that you can set only in the menu phase that allow you to chose duel, private, team games, etc.
so the game can be highlighted in the upper left side as a duel with pre selected country with a popout that warns the players about the winning condition

on topic i think ●Bellerophon can be a good moderator in my opinion i spoke to him and he seems a reasonable guy

I was muted by vril on global 1500 minutes for 4 spam messages, long time gap between them. Maxium should have been a week. Month ban may have been too much IMO. what do you think? We might need to replace him.

Huh? What do you mean "mods just say don't do it anymore?". Didn't we force some players to stop it; or remove their ELO rating? Didn't we highlight it? You are not fair in this ...

Also, players should have some own responsibility. Check with who you are duelling with, and what rules, before clickin on the accept button. Or do you really think Moderators are responsible for players who let them trick into a duel they don't want?

What exactly is your point here? Global spamming is not allowed, how simple is that. So, you risk a mute if you do so. And yes (as explained many times before); if we spot often abusers, who have learning difficulties on the rules; they get longer mutes. While first offenders might get away with a warning.

Alright then, I apologize for implicating that you wouldn't be a good mod.

But going serious mode now: I'm slightly against people who take themselves or the job at hand too seriously. I barely play anymore, but even when I did, I rarely muted or warned someone because I believe that just a bit of humor is ok. I've muted, warned and banned you in the past for being aggressive and insulting towards other players; you and other people who have a history.

And you have to agree with me on this - you take things too seriously. Even this, there are a lots of words written on the subject of "Tik-Tok wouldn't be a good mod" and while your reasoning is strong - so much that I'm apologizing and being in serious mode right now - I don't think the mod team needs that kind of attitude.

If your name comes up, as whenever someone's name is suggested, the moderation team will discuss the pros and cons, then pass the suggestion up the chain to Ivan and Amok, if we can agree unanimously on your name.
