Was playing a game this morning, whole world map. and within the first 10 turns the guy who started in china had completely taken over all of china (was an extra city map maybe the reason?) got into Europe, dominated the guy in Europe, and had no neutral city holes in Europe.

I did accuse him of cheating afterwords and noticed his rapid advance suddenly slowed down as he began to invade Africa.

my reasoning behind the accusation of cheating is because I find it hard to believe he managed to completely take over china, cross the entire continent, wipe out Europe... in the first ten turns...

I have thought about it, and granted I am new and don't know the game 100%, so I figure ill pose some questions.

1. is that even possible to do legitly? its a huge area... and the game only had 10k to start for money. any pro advice on this stratagie?

2. how does the change settings system work? does the host have veto? is it a vote? I was hosting the above game and wanted to keep it FFA no alliances, then magically it changed and the guy im talking about allys with a guest account in Russia (who did not expand, even with no opposition, that quickly)

3. he mentioned its possible to take the entire usa in 5 turns... currently I am exploring the north American continent and working on that. But I find it hard to believe it is possible to take every neutral city, Alaska, and Hawaii in five turns.

I would love some feed back on this.

I am not by any means a sore loser, if someone beats me with a superior statagie its just something new for me to learn, which is why I play games and strat games.

And seeing as I have been a gamer for years n years, ive come to accept that cheaters are a part of gaming life, they are delusional in there feelings of superiority and accomplishment, but they provide an additional challenge that is expressly satisfying to beat on rare occasions.

thanks in advance.

It is possible it's just skill you need to practise and more upgrades so you can do that also.

That is nothing special at all. Usually you can make it from south korea PD to India within 14 turns if there are only some weaker opponents neighbouring you.

Reaching Europe in first 10 turns can be hard, but with strategies such as SM or Blitzkrieg, it's more than likely that the enemy can get there fast :p

With SM and blitz it is possible to complete asia pretty quickly, but the whole of Eurasia in ten turns Are you exaggerating? General times for completetion SM and blitz america 5-6 turns, EU 5-6 turns, asia up to middle east 5-6 turns then you are going into the territory that EU should have taken by then, though not strickly part of EU.

So you can get from korea, completely take over china, and take over Europe, in 10 turns???

please a little more constructive advice rather then get skill... sure practice makes perfect, but saying get skill is a pretty arrogant non response to a clearly stated question...

Also if there is no one in china area and you are starting with high funds india can get almost or all the whole of eurasia in 10 turns. Everyone goes really slowly into africa because it's not worth very much. Unless you really need it for reinforcements or there is an enemy advancing there.

No exaggeration stick. game started out with blue taking over Europe, then this guy takes over china, and clears out Europe completely by turn 10 forcing blue out of the game. turn 11 I accused him of cheating, turn 12-13 he slowly moved into Africa.

And to your last post, starting money was 10k. he started in either korea or china. allied with the guy in Russia (guest account, and was not very good) before he took out the guy in euro.

and the part that I have to keep re stating, he took every city in both euro and china, no neutral gaps, not one...

The guys account is

OnlyKraken

I had a look at his play history, fairly new account, first few games managed to get 1500 sp per game.

im still a newb, that's for sure, but it raises my eye brow enough to conceal my receding hair line.

Unless this guy was under rank 7, don't be surprised.
With strategies like blitzkrieg and sky menace (strategies you will unlock later) this is entirely possible, when used by a good player.

Sorry for quad rapid post, but it just occurred to me that maybe the guest account was feeding him cash. it would explain why they wanted to have alliance early game, even tho I set it to 0.

This is possible when everything is neutral but even one really noobish player can delay it by a few turns. I'm thinking this must be in beginner lobby? And the account is an alt. That's the only explanation for it that I can think of. And the players so noobish that they hardly get anything and actually help not hinder.

Kk, just rechecked his account, I exaggerated on his first few games getting 1500 sp because I saw three in a row that he won in the last few days all with over 1100 sp. (forgive me still waking up)

only has 13 games under that account, with a 10-3 win loss ratio.

account created on 06/10/2013

anyway, I just want to figure out how he did it, especially if its legit, would love to add it to my gray matter.

Using alt accounts, as well as noob opponents, makes this quite possible.

Put yourself up against good players and examine every single bit of gameplay, look at upgrade and strategy guides on the forums. Joining SOME clans can help, make sure you don't join one that just focuses on farming cw points.

Yea I suppose that's possible 2 stick, maybe the guy in Europe moved everything to the front line leaving a bunch of zeros and a giant gap in defense.

thanks ppl for the constructive insight, here is the picture I have in my mind.

guest account allys with kraken feeding him early starting cash
kraken takes over china and between the two of them great majority of asia and Russia, leaving guest player strategicly weaker.
kraken moves to Europe with either blitzkrieg (which I don't know if he had or not)
and wipes out Europe because Europe was a noob leaving zeros and huge front line gaps.

hmmm, yep, ok I concede to the above idea as the most likely explanation.

It takes 2 turns to take over all of china.

another 2 turns to take korea and japan

another turn to take all of burma-vietnam

another 2 turns to take india

another 2 turns to take iran

another 2 turns to take turkey

another turn to take over eastern europe

another turn to take over all of europe

-13- turns total.

Not really, some are shorter some are longer. But it can amount to the same, and with non-noobish players it's not very possible to do it so quickly. Really noobish players will help you by leaving cities empty.

Because a rank 3 wouldn't understand. I can take all of China in one turn (if 25k and choosing China South)

It's not hard. Just learn lil' noob.

What??? Not enough units to do that in one turn??? You can easily just get the caps but not all cities???

Yes caps in one turn but that is ineffective for income and expansion, rather some caps and some cities, all cities in china in 4 turns.

I've gotten to Russia Central by turn 6 as South China, not that impossible if you're fast, don't stop, and you don't have an enemy.
