Reviving Clan Wars

Most people have noticed clan wars are dead, but I think with some simple adjustments we could revive them there are many people in the community who would want to Clan war still just their clans is dead. I think we should shift clans around and everyone interested in playing go to one of the clans looking for people to play.

Its simple if there aren't any real incentives, many of the former cw scene (including myself) wont come back. Add real incentives and get admins support to have them and maybe, maybe someone could be interested again.

The only thing that could possibly revive any competitiveness really is custom shields imo. like if u gain 1000 elo each member gets a shield designed by the leader or something like that

Plus there is another factor, with few exceptions most of the new players would want to play on another settings and sadly cw scene hasn't moved from the same map same settings plot, me and Lev who loved to cw on another settings like oceania, pacific, east asia new map, usa new map, etc always struggled in finding them so.....meh

I think a very good place to start is making as Discord serve just for Clan Waring, and the discussion of players who want to play and clans that want people. This could be made by one of the mods of atwar, someone who has popularity,or I could do it. I would rather someone from the atwar staff team make it so it can be part of the game. Also we can update the rewards to custom shields for the winners of the season, they get it for that season then it goes to the next,or maybe sp and proto coins just something so people want to play. We could also add when people join atwar they can gain 400 Proto coins if they join a clan like most games have that way they will be connected and learn the game. This will increase your chance at havng people stay. This could pair with Almighty efforts to revive the game. For the people who want to play scenario, other maps we could have clans specifly just for that. Then we could have the seasons for both the regular comp map and for scenarios the clans with people who wnat to play comp can compete in knock out brackets on the last month of the season same for senario clans. I would make it brackets knock out so it doesn't turn into a mess like the dueling season with just farming weaker clans. Also a fun idea that could be added is turning the atwar radio system to announcers for clan wars so someone can watch it break down the game, and the turns while a video of the game is up like they do for chess tournamets.

What coalitions are open to recruitment at this time? I would like to know. I think most coalitions are dead too. Only thing that survives time is WW1. At this point, just change atWar name to WW1- atWar.

This already happened in the past, and we also have multiple cw discord servers right now, you're a decade late. If you (not you tiger) upvoted tiger's post, then you're included.

There aren't enough people and not enough people in the right clans. The most innovative and imo beneficial solution would be to allow people from different clans to play together. For example a player from Goths and a player from Blue Dragons team up to play 2 players from prestige. If they win/lose their 2 clans split the gain/loss. This would require a little code rework but should be pretty doable and would actually make the scene a bit more interesting

Bro it feels so nice you are one of the few who remember my intent of competitive clan (ak Visigothia) which ended being a one man clan.

I'm available for a clan to hire for cw for the right amount of PCs

Tbh my clan is dead and i have no incentive of leaving so yeah

If i could clan war i think itd be fun

I would want to play cw's but only if strenght of players are kinda equal, i don't see a point in playing cw if i knew i will lose.

My clan would sweep Atwar, my Marshall Aiki of the Red Army will see to that.
